I have to say, when I saw this 47" at $899, I thought "ok, something has to be wrong with it." Instead of buying it, we decided to check out reviews. Problem was we couldn't find any. I asked everyone I knew if any of them had a Magnavox LCD and no one did. We shopped other brands and other stores. No one could beat the price and the in-store picture seemed to be just as good.
We've had the tv for about 2 months now and are very glad that we took a chance. For the money, we have an excellent quality HDTV that can be seen well from every angle in our living room. We noticed some LCD's were not good from a side angle, but not this one. The sound also adjusts itself if an obnoxious loud commercial comes on. All in all, we could not be more pleased.
